Assembly

This was simple assembly. I just used glue on all edges, the 3/4 inch brad nails to tack everything together. Sanding was minimal, just around the edges to soften them.

Bowl assembly, just used glue then clamp tight on four sides over night.

I used a Butcher Block oil on everything, to keep it food safe for the pups. Actually 3 solid coats and the bowls would hold water if needed. Don’t really recommend water, I have two dogs so both bowls just hold hard foods.

The two Aliens were just fillers from the cut out of the dog bowl holding spots. Plus gave me an extra chance to use some of the Easel Pro library clip art. Hate to waste wood, so I carved the aliens in both cut out circles. Good decoration for the shop, I live close to Area 51 so embrace your surroundings and let no wood go to waste.
