Outline and Pocket

12 minutes

Attached base board to X-Carve with double sided tape
Load X-Carve with 3" length, 1/8" cutter (2 flute up cut)
Zero machine
Load pentagon_3.nautilus [pentagon_profile].nc
Send to X-Carve

NOTE: Do not remove piece yet

Cut pocket

20 minutes

Load pentagon_3.nautilus [nautilus_pocket].nc
Send to X-Carve
Remove base from X-Carve

Cut Inlays

10 minutes

Attach 1/8" thick Padauk to X-Carve with double sided tape
Zero machine
Load pentagon_3.nautilus [nautilus_profile].nc; send to X-Carve

Assemble

20 minutes

Add glue to pockets
Place inlays into base board
Pound with rubber mallet if required.

5

Sand and Finish

20 minutes

Sand with 100, 150, 220, 400 grit sand paper
Finish with your favorite beeswax or polish.
