We sell a straight bit version of this on our Etsy shop, so we thought we would give it a shot with a vbit, cut out the circle with a band saw and then painted it with rock paint.
Way faster cutting the sign with a vbit and a much nicer look!
Hello,
The design is fantastic.
I tried several times and with different computers but easel hangs up when I try to simulate the specific design.
Did you experienced the same issue?
thanks

Hi @george-biskitjoglou
Inventables made some performance improvements to Easel and it turned up an error in the design. If you get the share again it should be fixed. I was able to cut another one on Friday.Let me know if that fixes it for you, if not I will copy it an create another share.

Mine suffers from the vbit not touching the board in all spots. I cant understand why. I am very careful about homing and all but it still seems to miss a lot of the detail while carving. Ideas?

There are many reasons why this might happen (material not the same thickness, z-probe out slightly, waste board not level to the z-axis), maybe ask in the forums or you can send a tech support request through Easel. Good luck!

I only get the circle, no design at all. wanted to try to make a smaller one to inset in another project.

There are two work pieces one cuts the sign into a circle the other cuts the actual design.
