Setup and carve

open in easel and make sure all your settings are correct

Easel setup:

When you open this in easel please make sure and check all your settings as mine may not work for you

Positive Carving:

Saftey Height: .150"
Step over: 40%
Feedrate: 45 in/min
Depth of cut per pass: .0625"
Depth of total cut: .125"
material thickness: .125"
Material type: HDPE Cutting Board
Bit Size: .125"
Bit Type: solid carbide 2 Flute straight flat end mill

Negative Carving:

Saftey Height: .150"
Step over: 40%
Feedrate: 45 in/min
Depth of cut per pass: .0625"
Depth of total cut: .125"

Material type: Poplar Wood

You will want to setup 2 different easel files with the settings above so you can cut on the different materials this project has a .01" tolerance for the pieces to fit together so you will have a nice snug fit also make sure to measure your materials with a set of calipers to make sure that you have the correct settings as you might have to adjust according to what you have
