Awesome! I've been looking for something like this. Where did you get the hose adapter / hose? What kind of vac?

Hi Paul, I've used a dish washer drain extension hose :-) And a standard, but compact, dry/wet vac. The 2 hoses fitted nicely into eachother. The blue rubber sheet material came from a hobbystore near me. Hope this helps! Best Regards!

The added weight of the hose and attachment doesn't affect the movement along the axes?

No, I didn't notice any difference in performance ;-)

One thing I notices in making my dust boot was to keep the brush short. Because as you cut the mill gets lower and lower. At some point the brush can get caught in the tool. The only way I know to deal with this is to make the dust boot larger, or be sure the brush cant touch the tool. ;-)

What acrylic and bit did you use? I haven't had luck with acrylic. it melts and builds up on my bit. any suggestions?
