These cute corian and walnut trivets are easy to make and are sure to make you smile the next time you're serving up a big dinner!

Carved Wood Trivet

  • Use 90-degree V-Bit to cut pattern in wood
  • Use 1/8" straight-end bit to cut circle
  • Lightly sand, and add mineral oil

Corian + Walnut Stripes

  • Cut 1" pieces of corian and walnut (I used a miter saw)
  • Glue into stripes using silicone adhesive
  • Once dry, use 1/8" straight-end bit to cut out circle.
  • NOTE: You could adjust the shape to any shape you like, or carve into this one as well!
  • Sand and add mineral oil

Carved Corian + Walnut

  • Carve geometric pattern into corian
  • Cut out corian strip using miter saw (if carving into a larger piece of corian)
  • Glue between two equally-sized pieces of walnut using silicone adhesive
  • Once dry, sand and add mineral oil.
  • NOTE: You could also cut this one into a circle, if preferred
