For Shallower cribbage boards where you would like a nice peg storage system all CNC done. This was designed for a 1/4" deep peg pocket and 1/8" door, but the sizes can easily be changed to work with the stock you have.

Pocket in back of cribbage board

The first work piece is the pocket for the back of the board. This consists of the large pocket for the 1/8" peg door to fit flush. It includes a 1/4" deep pocket for the pegs to sit. And lastly a spot I use a V bit to just poke the board to locate where the screw that holds the door on needs to go. Its just to locate and can be left out if you’d like.

Peg Door

This is where you can get creative. The hole is an 1/8" as that worked for the screw I used to secure to door on, but you can change its size if needed. The door could simply be cut out as is or you can customize it. I have only laser cut the doors out of acrylic, but you could CNC acrylic if you’d like too. You can add any design or text on the door to make it unique. One of my boards was a topographical map of a State park in Wisconsin, Peninsula State Park. So I put the parks logo on the door for an added touch.
